Model: Deco BE95
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.21

I would like to extend my deco network. I have two units, one is the main unit and the other is connected wirelessly as an extender. Do I have to purchase additional units to extend the same network, or is there a less-expensive extender that can extend the existing network. I inadvertently purcahsed a one-mesh extender but it just creates a different named network and is apparently not compatible with the deco quad band.

Please advise.

Carlo

Any Deco model should be capable of connecting to your current setup as a mesh, (per my understanding that is your goal, vs an Access Point, which is what you describe with a different SSID). They may not perform as well as another BE95 would, but should work nonetheless.

  @Creyesmd

Here is a ranger extender that will work with your deco(s)

  @Creyesmd If you haven't returned the Range Extender yet try to set it up in Range Extender mode.  It should duplicate your network settings for the bands it has available.
