Hi,

I recently bought the X50 (2 Pack) and I use it in pure AP mode.

Now I wonder whether it's possible to use each of the 2 devices as an independent AP?

Like this I could use each with a dedicated SSID on a separate VLAN.

@stkr Yes, you can.

start by removing one of the Deco from the mesh (via the app)
using the app, create a new network, and include the orphan Deco in it

I assume you will configure the VLAN on a separate switch.

thanks for your response and sorry for my late reply!

I tried what you said, I created a new network for the orphan Deco x50 device.

Unfortunately it seems to automatically connect again with the other x50 device in the same SSID network.

Am I missing somwthing? How can I isolate the device in its own SSID?
