Sunday
Model: Deco BE25
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: I don't see a hardware or firmware version on it anywhere.

I was just getting started, install was going well.  Then lightning hit.  The main node was flashing red. Lost a 16 and a 5 point switch as well despite the house having a surge protector and the 16 point switch being plugged into a UPS.  All I could do was to try a reset, button on the back. It appears successful as it started flashing blue.  I powered down the other two nodes.

I opened the Deco App to find it still knew the names of the 3 nodes, wanting to start fresh, I ejected the app, removed it from my iPhone and re-downloaded it.  But it still seemed to know about the old node names.  Is it because instead of creating an new account I elected the option to sign into my existing account.  Or is there a file on my phone somewhere that did not get deleted by removing the Deco app.

How do can I insure that all previous information is gone and I am starting again with a blank slate?

Thanks,

Stetson

Clearing everything might depend on the Phoe, iOS or Android?

On iOS, press and hold the app down, then select delete and clear add data.

Might not need to do that, I assume the app has your ID saved and automatically signs in? If so, LOG OUT, and then Sign in again, might have cleared the data logging out? If on iOS, check the PASSWORD app and delete the one that it used as well before doinng the sign-out.

USP's should have protected the device attached. Possible the battery needed to be replaced, so there was no protection? Check the battery by unplugging it from the wall and see if it switches over and keeps  the device up.

Most UPS's do have a 'warranty' for them that will cover losses due to a surge?
