Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.5

I have an Archer AX55 v1.6 router running 1.3.5 firmware, I have auto-update disabled to allow me to review the upgrades. The router is saying that an upgrade is available, and showing version 1.5.11 as the new available version. I cannot find that version anywhere on the TP-Link US website. The most recent version available is 1.3.5.   I'm concerned that something is going on that is not good. I took the router out of service, reset it to factory configuration and reloaded 1.3.5 from scratch. The router is still showing that 1.5.11 is available for upgrade. What am I missing???

I have several other AX55 routers, later hardware versions. None are showing an available upgrade, all are current with what I can see on the download site.

And and all thoughts and insight appreciated !!!!

Kevin

  @privateflyer05 The download site is always behind the release through auto-update.  Will probably be posted on Monday, but may take a few more days due to Holidays.

  @DVair

Thank you, that thought had occurred to me. Except ...  To jump from a 1.3.x strain of firmware to 1.5.x? Were there 1.4.x versions? Thus I posted here!!!

Appreciate your reply.
