I have an HP Photosmart c5280 connected to TL-PS310U. We are sharing this between 2 computers. The c5280 is a multi-function device and the print function is working great. However, I can't figure out how to connect the device for scanning under Windows 10.

With previous releases of Windows it was possible to temporarily connect the device in a dedicated mode for scanning. However, that does not work anymore because the operating system is managing the device not the TpLink utility.

The printer does offer EWS (Embedded Wed Services), but that does not work either because the TL-PS310U intercepts attempts to connect to it, and gives some configuration screens instead.

I am at a loss. Can anyone help please?
