Hello,

I have an XE75 Deco mesh system.

Just received this alert

"Defended against a PORT.SCANNING attack"

Device - Apple TV 4k

Source IP 192.168.68.50

Target IP 192.168.68.1

Is this a false positive? Not sure how an Apple TV would have any sort of malware on it.

  @tbo45,

I think it would make more sense to state:

Your Deco detected a device on your network from Scanning your Network's Available/Open Ports

While this does often come in the form of an attack, such as an IoT device looking for available routes to funnel traffic - there are legit uses for port scanning such as Casting or Using the Apple Home features. For this reason a rule is not created to prevent future detections.
