Range extender won't reconnect after my main router reboots
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I've got my main router configured to do a weekly reboot. My TP-LINK RE200 repeater is connected to that router using a 5GHz access point, and then re-broadcasts the signal on 2.4GHz. I find that after the reboot the RE200 is no longer connected to my router. It will never reconnect, so I need to unplug it every week to get it working again.
Is there any way to get the RE200 to reconnect after it loses its main router connection? It seems strange to me that this doesn't happen automatically. I'm running the latest firmware, from early 2016.
