Does anyone know what the average range of the powerline adapters is. I've used them before, but now my router is a few feet further away from my Tivo which is what I am using the powerline adapter...

I have an Archer A7 TP-link router. I am looking at powerline adapters and am wondering if I have to use a special one for this router or will an older one work like the AV600? Thank you.
