@5Guru I have a system that sits directly above the router on the 2nd floor. It will show connected with 5 and 6, is it doing anyhting? Who knows?

@Nyquist-Shannon yes GE is newer, The weak security thing was weird, when I first got the phone it was fine, then a week or so ago it complained. Had an update the other day and its back to normal....

One thing to remember is that many of these new routers are NOT WIFI7 certified, many of them firmware upgrades that haven't been issued yet. I have the wifi 7 adapter but its not certified and...

@JimmyFortier If you have the 24H2 win 11, there is a bug in networking where on win 11 machines you can see others on the network but not connect to them.

@MrChucklesThe Tether app will connect to the router wirelessly and allow you to set it up. You can also set it up with a computer that is plugged into the Ethernet port.
