@Carl Thanks for your reply. I was able to get the ES305 to link up by pressing the tiny reset button on the bottom with a paper clip.

I have a power light on the ES305 range extender. The router is connected to the internet but I can't get a TP-Link_Extender SSID on my wifi list. I tried re-booting everything. What can I try next?...
