How to configure Quantum Fiber C5500XK to allow Deco BE63 router capability

I have a Quantum Fiber C5500XK that was recently installed. QF tech had no clue how to configure the QF modem/router into transparent bridge mode so that my Deco BE63 can handle the router functions.
