HS105 plugs(3) used to work with Alexa, now all say "unresponsive"
Hello. I have three HS 105 plugs right now and have never had an issue controlling them with Alexa. Starting a day or so ago, all three plugs fail to be controlled by Alexa, it just says "Sorry somethings wrong..." for all three, says to disable, then re-enable, which I have done many times without success. It lists all three as "Skill is unreponsive" under the device plug section. Even if I delete and re-add no joy, from either the Kasa or Alexa app. The Kasa app has no problem turning them on and off. I did try the steps on the page to enable them on Alexa(which as mentioned has worked for months and months), and my wireless connections are fine, internet up, changing the remote control status in the app rediscovers on Alexa, but no good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have disconnected and reconnected both the plugs and the Alexa. They just stopped working. I have two plugs both are unresponsive and the same on all other questions.

Because you can control the plugs remotely have you gone into the Alexa app and unlinked the Kasa Skill and re-added it?

If you are not able to control the device remotely through the app I would look at your router's DNS servers and change them to a public DNS such as Google's or OpenDNS's. Once the remote through the Kasa app is working remote through Alexa should work.

I had this same issue and opened a support case with tp-link. After a few back and forths, I found my issue. When I enabled the skill in the Alexa app, I used a different account than the one that the devices were attached to in the Kasa app. Once I logged in with the correct account, all my devices were fine in the Alexa app.
Check this, if you haven't already.

Thanks!
I had given up for months now and your solution helped me.
My issue was corrected by simply logging in to alexa.amazon.com via a web interface, disabling my Plug, then re-enabling it, et Voila!
Thanks for getting me there.
