3 way Dimmer switch?
Does TP-Link have any plans in the near future to release a 3-way dimmer switch? I have the HS200 and HS220. I would love it if the HS220 had the 3Way capability.

I want to say the LED operation you described in your Beta description does not make sense. Maybe I am misunderstanding. It seems both LED nights should be on when the lights are off and off when the lights are on. I don't understand the satellite LED off function.
It would seem that they should make each switch's LED work like single dimmers do.
I also don't understand how making the satellite switch nightlight brighter helps reduce communicatio interference. This feels like an unexpected workaround the development team didn't expect.
Feels like it is time to go back to the drawing board and define the spec based on Nortth Anerican input, not decided by your Chinese developers.

Hello Carl - Any updates on the launch? I am seeing the product's page is now gives a 404 error.

@Carl I'm very confused. Does this firmware update turn a regular Kasa dimmer switch into a 3 way dimmer switch?

@Meldris No, all discussion is about the recent release (KS230 kit).
the previous dimmer switch (HS220) is single pole. It's impossible to become 3-way switch by firmware upgrade

Last night around 8PM Eastern time, my lights on the KS230 switches dimmed all the way down to zero randomly then needed a minute or two before I could control them by any means. I thought "Cool, maybe it's a pushed firmware update" but I'm still showing 1.0.9 from that first beta you shared at the end of Sept. Anything happen last night that we should be aware of? Any more word on what the production firmware version number would look like? I'm still having the symptoms that @Connu originally laid out a few weeks back.

Hi @ChrisNorthNJ,
That's interesting. Amazon "off" routines are broken, but I thought only randomly because the routine to turn my KS230 kit off at midnight seemed to work occasionally. I would notice that they were off in the morning sometimes and assumed that the routine actually worked. I wasn't ever up at midnight checking to see if it was the routine. Now I'm thinking that it may actually be a new issue like the one you describe. I think I'll add it to the list. Thanks!
1. The round nightlight is always on regardless of whether the lights are on or off. (remote switch only)
2. The round nightlight is much brighter than other kasa switches including the main switch. (remote switch only)
3. The round nightlight ignores the on/off toggle setting in the kasa app. (remote switch only)
4. The dim level LEDs don't all light up to the left like all the other kasa switches with the v1.09 update installed. (both switches)
5. Long Pressing including custom settings works but Double Tapping doesn't work and behaves like a single tap to turn the lights on or off. (remote switch only)
6. Amazon Routine to toggle switch off fails with Alexa and the kasa app reporting the lights off when they are actually still on.
7. Switch is not editable when setting up a scene. The default setting is 100% and the app won't advance to edit page.
8. Lights occasionally turn off on their own.

@ChrisNorthNJ i had a similar issue two days ago. The lights were on a couple of hours and then it turned it off by itself. It took a few minutes to be able to turn it on aga

I have been watching this forum for a while and ordered the KS230KIT the main issue of the switch turning off once it reached a certain brightness level was fixed. For the most part my switch functions well enough. In addition to the list of issues you posted, I want to add to #6 that it is not just Alexa routines that will not turn off the switch, but Scenes in the Kasa app will not as well. I have one scene to turn on four lights (three HS220s, one KS230) and one to turn them all off. They all turn on, and all but the KS230 turn off. After running the off scene, if I go to the KS230 device in the Kasa app it appears to be off. I can tap it once and then the app shows it as being on, then tap it again and the switch finally turns off. I am hoping this gets fixed in a future firmware release. So far I have not experienced #8 - the switch turning off on its own.
