Firmware Version: 1.5.5

Is there a way where I could download the firmware for LB100 other than from Kasa application? in other words, i want to download the firmware first on my laptop and then install it. I see that TP link has firmwares hosted for download for other products however I could not find any firmware to download for LB100. Thanks

No, for TP-Link Smart Home products all frimware updates are OTA (over the air) via the Kasa App. This is because there is no UI for those devices.
