I was comparing the two products,  Based upon the product descriptions on their respective pages, they are identical aside from the part number and name.  Am I supposed to infer something from the KP vs HS?  What is the difference between these products?  The company might consider updating the pages to make it clear.  Maybe I could figure it out by blowing up the image of the box so I could read that?

The KP100 is the new version of the HS105 following the new naming scheme for Kasa Products.  Other than that they are pretty much the same product.

If that is the case, then why is my KP100 (on the box) showing as a HS105 on my home network?

@sjtsnix I have about 5 or 6 of the HS105 which shows 15 amp maximum output. I bought a pair of the KP100 from Sam's Club a couple of weeks ago. The box and the plugs show 10 amp maximum output. The internet and even Sam's website states 15 amp. I called the support line and sent a picture to show them. Their response was a just a typo. I am not trusting that. If they are the same, they should exchange them for HS105 for my piece of mind.
