I can ask Alexa to turn the Dot on verbally, but then I have to manually turn on the Bose. Would i be able to use a Kasa Smart Wi-fi Plug to turn on the Bose? If so, how would I set this up? Thanks!
sure but only if the Bose soundwave is a true on/off device. if it has a standby mode like a smart TV then when you cut the power to it through the smart plug you would need to then manually turn on the device like you do know.
To set it up. Setup the smart plug in the Kasa App. Then go to the Alexa app and add the Kasa Smart Skill and link the two cloud accounts to each other. From there simply plug the bose device in and you should be done.
