Hard wired to wifi

@Jjdejd Camera was working fine, then dropped off WiFi. Reset it and it only works hard wired? How do I get it back on WiFi?

If your cameras is wired to the router you would first need to remove this wire. Just like a computer that is wired and wireless one always takes priority, usually hardwired. The first step would be to remove the wire from the camera then see if it connects wirelessly and if not then troubleshoot why.

@Carl when I remove the wire it doesn't connect wireless. Tried the wps buttons on both. Like I said, the camera was workifine wireless and it just went off line. Cycled power and nothing, so I removed it from the account, reset it and tried to set it up as a new camera. It would not find the router sitting two feet away. So I hard wired it and it came right up. Don't understand why it won't go wireless. It's probably three years old. Thanks

If you already did this and with no wire connected it is still not connecting its quite possible the wireless adapater has gone out. And if its really 3 years old its not longer covered under warranty. Contact support @ support.USA@tp-link.com as we might be able to provide a small discount to purchase a new one on our eBay official store. Support would have to confrim if we accutually can but it is possible.
