Hi,

 

Bought Archer AX 6000 couple of months ago and a need arise to go through my wifi router's traffic logs. I actually wanted to see Firewall logs (internet activity, browsing history, search histroy, File Upload/Download etc...) but I found TP Link routers have no such logging. The only logging enabbled is Traffic Statistics that do not provide any of above information. 

 

Now, for active logging/monitoring perspective this router is of no use at the moment. 

 

Any news/idea or work around? (Couple of links talking about OpenDNS logs and WallWatcher is not working !!!). This is a must feature for any of the wifi device and I am shocked and surprised that this router doesn't have this capability - I confirmed with Support person today :( !!!

You should see the various log options by going into the system logs under system tools:

These logs only provide system info (service start stop) as below. Unfortunately Firewall has not logged anything as you can see. These logs do not contain traffic details (Source IP/Destinaiton IP etc...) Anything missing in the config?

I will forward the feedback and suggestion of having detailed logs rather than the ones you receive now.

Everything forwarded be it features or function is sent and taken into consideration. Nothing guarantees it will be implemented.

@Amit2777   I tried opendns, didn't like it, it causes latency, I think may be due to filtering analysis if you use that feature to filter out bad sites.
