I want to get better wifi in the garage. The nearest device is in the bedroom by the garage. Not enough signal, would it be advisable to install one in the garage? I live in florida and it gets pretty hot. I DO have a switch in the garage as well and doesn't seem to be affected by the heat.

Specs mention an ideal operating environment of 104 degrees, but I would assume it gets hotter than that.

So you could do that, but placing the Deco in the garage opens the potential of the device becoming overheated. I would monitor it closely to see if there are constant network drop (red LED).
