HS300 incorrectly turns on *all* plugs in scenes
I have a scene that should turn on only 2 plugs on the hs300 (along with some other tp-link bulbs and single plugs) but every time the scene is run in the Kasa app, all plugs on the hs300 are turned on. Individual plugs can be turned on and off correctly in the Devices tab, and when the scene is run from an iOS shortcut the 2 plugs are turned on correctly. The scene had been working correctly in the Kasa app until about 2-3 weeks ago. All devices have had firmware updated and I have done a factory reset on the hs300. Any ideas?

@idontlikewords, I think I may have run into something similar. Can you take a look at my post and tell me if this is what you're experiencing also?

If you create a scene then configure it in smart actions how does that fare?
Do you use the smart device with any other services like Google Home or Alexa?

@Tony I created a smart action to run the scene at a scheduled time and the scene ran correctly, with only two plugs being turned on. However when I run the same scene from the app directly, all the plugs turn on. I don't have Google Home or Alexa configured, but when the scene is triggered from the Apple Shortcuts app it runs correctly. So the only way to get the incorrect result seems to be running the scene by tapping its icon in the "Scenes" tab.
Also, I looked at @StephenMatthew's post and it does seem to be very similar, but on a different multi-outlet device (HS300 vs. KP200).

Thank you for the information.
I can forward what you found with the scenes in the app to see if we can replicate it and let you know.
Just to make sure you are using the Kasa app version 2.25.0 for the iOS?

@Tony Thanks! App version is 2.25.0 Build 810 btw. And I've confirmed this issue on two different devices, running both iOS 13 and iOS 14. If there is any other info I can provide, please let me know.

The Kasa team verified it and mentioned it should be fixed on the next app release (v2.26).

@Tony, thanks again for looking into this! I can't speak for @idontlikewords, but I can confirm that the feature is once again working for my KP200 outlets using v2.26 of the Kasa app. Thanks SO much! I can now take control of the TV back away from the kids!
