I have 4 HS200 switches in my garage with a router located inside the garage about 5 feet way.  Two of them are V2 and two are V3, neither of the V2 switches are very reliable and it seems like one of them has recently started to only work for a few minutes after being reset.  It is grayed out in the kasa app and Alexa tells me it is unavailable.

 

I also have an HS300 (6 plug outlet strip) that has to be reset every now and then, but much less frequently than the switches.

 

Is there anything I can do to make the V2 switches more reliable?

@slowTA Do you have any 2.4GHz devices, like wireless phone or camera?

Devices that are 2.4GHz but not WiFi can cause issues.

Nope, besides my cell phone (that doesn't spend all that much time in the garage) all I have are the switches and outlets I mentioned along with a blink camera and module.

If your camera doesn't drop then the router should be fine. You can try modifying the wireless channel on the router to see if that changes anything. If you continue to have all plugs go down, reach out to our support in that case.

So the switch in question is working again, but now the other V2 switch stopped working!  As if only 1 of them can connect at a time!
