The heater will power on using the app, but I cannot actually turn the heat on with it. I read about a remote control option, but couldn't locate it anywhere in my kasa app. HELP! TIA
Thats because you can't control the device connected just the power to it. So if its turning on then its working activing the heat circuit is something that is different entirely. A smart plug just turned power on or off. Think a vamipire tap or a wall switch that controls an outlet. Smart plugs just break or restore a circuit allow the flow or stoppign the flow of power.
@Carl Thanks. Since I read that it could be used for heaters, I thought I was missing something.
