I am trying to setup my new Archer AX21 router. Should I turn off my old router (Archer C9) before I hook up my new router? Thanks

Yes, and the modem as well.

 

Also, if you intend to use the SAME SSID's and PASSWORDS, on each device (other than wired) FORGET the present NETWORK Connection.

 

Once the router and modem is connected together, only then POWER UP the modem and when it is fully up, then POWER UP the router and start the SETUP.
