Is there a way to check the internet speed INTO the router?
I've just bought and installed the Archer AX21. I can run speed tests on my devices, both wi-fi and Ethernet-connected. But I cannot find a way to test what speed my ISP is providing into the router. Is there a way to test this? I know that at least one other brand of router offers this capability, but I cannot find anything for this router either in the web-based manager or through the Teather app.
I suspect that my ISP is not providing the promised speed, but I know that many factors can affect the speed at the computer, and the ISP is not responsible for anything that happens after the signal enters my house. So I'd like to test the speed INTO the router rather than coming out of it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, my ISP (Spectrum) will only assist IF the Spectrum Speed test shows low speed. Why? Because it is RUN on thier side of the Internet basically. That is your test stays on their part of the Internet, otherwise you get all the delays of a myriad of servers back and forth to the test server. I think they wouldn't subtract much though to the total speed arrived at though, but I've seen instances, expeically on phones where it does make a difference which test app or site is used.
Since the ONT does create a Network cable:
it can be connected directly to a PC Ethernet port and used. I've not tried it as I don't have it, but if at all uneasy, call your ISP and ask, or ask others that have the service if they have.
The only 'off-ISP' one I'd use is SPEEDTEST DOT NET (make it one URL removing DOT and replace it with a dot '.', I can't add it here as a link, not allowed in this forum s/w) so try a test with it.
