In Android (Samsung S22 Ultra), I add a widget from the Kasa app.  It offers me a 1x1 widget, which I've setup as a scene that toggles a KP125 switch.  When the widget is added to my home screen, it shows up as 1x2 and can only be made wider, but cannot be made shorter.  Is there a way to actually have it show up as 1x1?  Anyone else get the widget to show up as 1x1?  Anyone else seeing my same problem where the widget shows up as 1x2??  Thx.

Would it be possible for you to send a screenshot of what you are looking at, so that we can share this with the development team?

 

I do not believe that I have seen this behavior reported before. Are you using a different home screen launcher than the default OneUI homescreen? I personally have had issues with widgets taking up too much space when using OneUI and had to switch for this reason.

 

Otherwise, this is the most recent version of the Kasa Beta App, which included a fix for widgets not displaying the correct information. If the behavior persists, you can create an app log to send to our developers that will detail what may have caused this.

  @Riley_S It is indeed OneUI.   You can see I've setup a scene called 'Office' that should be a 1x1 widget.  Do you need a screenshot of the Kasa widget screen that shows it will be a 1x1?  And this is after installing the beta (thanks for that!).
