  @Riley_S my cameras say they come with 512gb of free local storage. Wouldn't that record like a person at the door ringing or a lotion sensor alert? I have nothing.

  When I got my tc 85s I had to hook them up to a 2.4g wifi signal so I run everything else on master wifi and just cameras on 2.4g... my problem is that mine will be filming perfectly then its like it is hit by something distorting them all 4 do it the digitalise then grainy and sit there says unstable network and next the camera stops then cuts back on like nothing happened...

  @DonyGibbs,

Is it possible that there is an extreme source of interference nearby?

 

I would imagine that this has something to do with your network reprioritizing the connections, or the camera could be loading a higher-quality stream than when it first loads the live view.

 

I would also try to check on another phone to try and see if the behavior is originating from your phone reconnecting or reprioritizing its own connection on the network.

 

Lastly, does the behavior happen on both your home wi-fi and while away from home? If so, it could be a result of the app shifting its live stream to use a local connection, rather than a cloud (or vice-versa)
