Got these (box of 4) because I need some timers on outlets that are not easily accessible.  I cannot get these scheduled.   I have no idea what Hardware version I have, there is nothing anywhere that says this.  Firmware is whatever was available on Dec 9.  

I have tried two of the 4 in the box so far.  I can get it set up, and a schedule established.  However, the schedule does not turn the lamp on.  I tried with a clock radio and it also would not turn on.  If I turn the appliance on manually, the schedule will turn it off.  The on time is definitely before the off time.  I am scheduling through the app, I do not have Alexa.  

These are supposedly the best smart plug out there.  I have read the directions, watched the YouTube videos, and still no luck.  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
