Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.5 Build 20230922 rel.71211(5553)

Steps to recreate:

  • Log into router locally
  • Click "Wireless" on header menu
  • Click "Guest Network"
  • Observe screen

Actual: For a brief moment (<1 second) you see an alternate settings page, before you see the normal settings page. This alternate screen shows a 6GHZ option on it and also second 5GHZ channel. You'll probably need to do a video screen recording and go back to watch it as it disappears quickly.

Expected: You would not see the "alternate" page appear with 6GHZ as this router does not have 6GHZ. You should only see the regular screen below.

@myHomeNetwork

I assume the AX73 firmware may share some specific parts of the firmware of those models that support 6GHz, and since it doesn't support 6GHz due to hardware or software limitations, it will only display as 2.4GHz and 5GHz on the web UI.

I have reported this issue to the engineering team, they will help confirm and ask for a fix if this is confirmed to be a firmware bug.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Appreciate it.
