Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20211222 rel.74632

Hello,

When enabled is the Guest Network security encrypted as in its using WPA2 or WPA3?

When in the Tether app I see that you can set a password for both the main Wireless network and the Guest Network. However, only the main Wireless network in the app lists what security it uses such as WPA2 or WPA3 while the Guest Network doesn't list what it uses at all.

Also, if the Guest Network is encrypted, but it's just not listed in the app then what does it use?

I am new to this and appreciate any help or advice you can give!

@Zira

The Tether app is not full featured so this may be one of the items that requires you to log into the user interface via a web browser 'tplinkwifi.net'   go to Advanced > Wireless > Guest network.  You can then choose the encryption you want to use.

@Carl That makes sense. I was able to find what you suggested and now I am able to adjust the security of my Guest Network. Thanks!
