Are the older model's compatible with the newer? I have an existing M9 Plus with three units spread across my house. I want to add an X15 and move an M9 Plus to the garage.
@CrocketD The Deco models can interoperate.

Be also aware that some features will be available only if supported by all the Deco in the mesh, while other features require only to be supported by the main Deco.
