The only reason I purchased this particular doorbell was 100% due to it's compatibility with Homekit. I had a fully functional Ring doorbell prior to purchasing the TD25. Because every smart device I owned used a different app to control, I decided that I would make an investment in my house by replacing all my various smart devices with devices that collectively work in one ecosystem. Since all of my family has iOS or MacOS devices, I decided that the best and safest smart home ecosystem to put all my eggs in would be Homekit. Regardless what people's opinions are of Homekit, I have the comfort of knowing at the very least, it isn't going anywhere. Over this past Christmas, I spent quite a bit of money updating/upgrading all my smart devices to Homekit compatible ones. I was able to get every device working on Homekit except this TD25 doorbell. The box shows the Homekit logo and on Best Buy's website, it states in the product description that it is compatible with, yet when I look for anything that even mentions Homekit, I come up empty. There is no signs at all that this doorbell will work with it. I have a Tapo indoor camera that I was able to get to work on Homekit fairly easily, but I cannot even find any information online that shows how to do it. I can't even find anything that confirms it works. Outside of the packaging and the item description from the retailer's website, I can't find anything mention of Homekit at all pertaining to this TD25 doorbell. Can anyone help me get this figured out before I lose my friggin mind! Thanks.
