Model: Kasa HS200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.11

I have two properties that use TP-Link's Kasa switches and plugs to control the lights in each house.  One location has 43 devices and the other has 72 devices.  The location with 72 devices has been sold.

Both properties are controlled with one app.  I select the location I want to control by clicking the down arrow in the upper left-hand corner of the property's description.

The existing Comcast modem will remain in place.  We were able to get that transferred to the new owner.

How can I remove the property with the 72 devices from my app?  Will the new owner be required to perform a factory reset on all devices and reinstall them?

  @BobEskew,

Unfortunately there is no formal way to transfer devices to another account. The new homeowner would need to reset the devices and add them to their Wi-Fi using their own TP-Link ID.

On your side, you do not have to wait for the devices to be reset and added to their account, you can remove the devices in the Tapo App.

You can either find the remove button in the device's settings, or you can long-press on a device from your Tapo homescreen, which will cause a red delete button to appear on each device.
