My Internet Wi-Fi modem is at the other end of the house and by the time it gets to my laptop it is pretty weak.  My wife's wired desktop PC is close to my laptop and so I got this Archer A9 and plugged it into the cable going to the desktop PC and plugged the desktop PC into the Archer A9.  Everything worked great right out of the box except that now neither one of us can see the Synology NAS that is plugged into the Internet Wi-FI modem at the other end of the house.  If I want to use the NAS I need to switch back to the Internet Wi-FI network on my laptop and my wife has to move the cable plugs on her desktop.  I've looked at all the settings in the Archer A9 but I don't understand all I know about them.
