Looking to set up mesh network in 4000 sq ft home, all wireless backhaul. There is a smaller area of the home that will mainly be used for one wired device connection to a node (doesn't need high speeds) with some intermittent wireless usage. My plan was to use a 3-pack of Deco BE63 for the rest of home, and a cheaper Deco model for that one smaller, lower demand area. My questions would be 1) is there any downside to the rest of the network/capabilities by using such a combination; and 2) if I do use this combination is it better to use a Deco XE75 for that smaller area rather than a dual-band option, so that it keeps the entire network tri-band?

@nyynyj I can't speak to these specific models, but I did mix-and-match two BE85's with a BE95, and I'm fairly certain that downgraded the BE95 from quad-band to tri-band. So I would advise caution. Deck's typically operate under a "least common denominator" for consistency's sake
