I have an Arris Surfboard modem and a tp-link network switch with my X55 Pro Deco setup. 

 

I have my network switch and my router connected to my modem ports

 

and I have my other 2 Deco's hardwired to my network switch. 

 

 

Any time my power goes out or internet goes out my router will not reconnect back to the internet. 

 

Sometimes I could use a MAC clone and I could manually type in my DNS server. 

 

 

 

I just can't figure out why it's not registering to my router from the modem automatically. I feel like it's a hardware issue with the actual router but I'm not sure. 

 

 

Any ideas?

Only connection to the modem should be the main deco, then from the main deco to the switch, other decos plugged in to the switch
