One of the normal things that happen during initial set up and deployment of smart plugs is a different outlet or power extension strip.  Later it might be necessary to move the device to a different outlet in the same room (or even another room).   It would be a big improvement to allow a move like this and have the device stay connected and working without having to start all over again with connecting the device, etc.  I have found this is not the case with current product and software.
