I noticed that normally ES20M queries NTP server once per hour. Then at some point it queries twice per hour. Then at some point it hangs. While it hangs it queries NTP four times per hour for some hours and then eight times per hour for some hours before I force restart. It feels like there’s some “fork bomb”-like bug in firmware that doubles workload and exhausts resources gradually. My ES20Ms do not use Home Assistant.

  @optmode That makes sense, seems in-line with the behavior I see where it takes some time to go non-responsive.

 

I disconnected one of my two from Home Assistant and the issue persisted so I guess it's not related. I didn't have the issue until I added a second ES20M to my house. Does anyone have the issue with just a single ES20M?
