Kasa ES20Ms Hangs every few days and requires a reset
I owned 2 Kasa ES20Ms. Every fews days, they hang and I need to push the reboot button for them to start working again.
Wondering if other folks are facing the same issue and what TP-Link is doing about it since this has been happening for several months now.

@Wayne-TP Yes, I bought these devices because of their interoperability with Home Assistant. I don't really want them if they will not work when connected to HASS.
Is that an issue you have seen people have?
One of the lights in question is involved in an automation (condition, not trigger or action), but the other isn't at all.
I have 25 or so automations that involve Kasa lights but it is only these two ES20Ms that have issues.
@epiphanyplx Home Assistant is not a supported third-party by Kasa. Product performance and stability cannot be guaranteed when managed through unsupported platforms, and we don't provide support for such usages.

I am not using Home Assistant and only integrated with Alexa. I have 4 ES20M in different parts of the room and mostly found that I need to reboot all of them around the same time as they freeze, reboot bring the only option.
I do have a 2 year warranty and is there an option to return it at this time as the core functionality of a switch does not work.
I am on the latest version 1.1.6, i have a feeling that the new firmware messed it up completely, i did not have these issues previously.

I have the same issue everyone else here it talking about. I have 2x ES20Ms. At least once a day, often more then once a day I have to flip circuit breaker to reset these "smart switches". when they go offline the physical buttons become unresponsive. This was not an issue in the past this started after upgrading to firmware version 1.1.6. If this is not fixed soon I would like a refund, so I can buy something else that works. If I have to replace these this will be the last tp-link product I will buy. The shelly wall dimmers work great, and work great with local connection to home assistant.

@bk69 Interesting, everyone with issue has more than one of the devices.
I only had one until we added a second one to another bathroom - that is when issues started.
I wonder if they're getting confused somehow.
BTW have you tried holding button in lower right of switch? At least then you don't have to flip breaker.

@epiphanyplx just tried it because surprise surprise one of them is offline again, for me the bottom button is light dim, holding it does nothing and tapping the reset (single short press) does nothing. It's not a wifi range issue it's just on the other side of the wall from its access point.

@bk69 I meant the bottom right hand button underneath the main buttons - have to hold it for 10 seconds or so.

@bk69 Yeah, certainly not a wifi issue as the switches don't need to be connected to function as normal switches.

@epiphanyplx I think mine is upside down compared to yours, but I did hold the small reset for about 10 seconds and it did come back online
