Will c420 get 24/7 capture like the c460 model?
We have a tapo c420 camera as well as 2 tapo c460 model cameras.
Our C40 cameras has the 24/7 capture feature. Will the c420 cameras get this feature soon? We would greatly benefit from this feature.
It is too early to tell, to be completely honest. The feature still has a bit of development to go, with the C460 and C660 being the very first cameras to receive the feature. As we learn more about the initial release and capabilities of the feature, we will begin to learn more about potential compatibility. The feature is still undergoing development (with hub storage for 24/7 captures coming in a future firmware update)
With the feature providing such an advantage over traditional battery cameras, I can imagine that the team's goal is to expand the compatibility of the feature - but it may be a hardware limitation due to these cameras having very different feature specs and capabilities from our previous cameras.
The community is still waiting to release our introduction of the feature, so I will try to look into it before then.
