Tapo S505 Hardware version 1.6 upgraded to Firmware 1.2.2 using Tapo App.

S505 then paired with HomeAssistant (v2025.7.2) via Matter.  

Switch operates correctly, however Firmware Version is reported as 1.0.0

Hardware Version is also reported as 1.0

In addition the serial number is populated with the S505 MAC address rather than the device serial number.

I have tried the same pairing with Apple Home (Homekit) with the same result.

What is also interesting is that while firmware 1.0.0 is reported and version 1.2.2 is the latest, no software upgrade is offered by Homeassistant or Apple Home.
