As Anyone used a Smart plug 115 to reset their router remotely over long periods of time. My internet router stands to go down once a quarter and I was thinking of using the 115 to reset it when it does. Not sure if they are dependable enough?
You can set up schedule rules (one rule to turn off the plug and another rule in 2 minutes to turn on the plug) to reboot the router regularly, with a maximum repeat interval of one week. These rules will continue to operate even if the internet and Wi-Fi connection are down.
However, please note that the schedule must be created before any network disruptions, as you won't be able to access the plug remotely to create schedules once the internet is down.
