How to Permantly configure smart plug to count down timer then turn switch off?

Is there a way for to set my light switch to automatically turn off "X" minutes after being turned on? and maintain this behavior every time the switch is turned on?
The timer config in the phone app configures the time out function but the app does not allow one to speciy the ON event.
I'm looking for something that will happen automatically each time the light switch is turned on.
Last posting I foung (~4-5 years ago) said this behavior/programming is not possible. Seems like a typical use case that could have been added after all this time.....
