Firmware Version: .8

I have several HS200 Kasa Smart Switches in my home and all are functioning correctly.  I just installed another HS200 and cannot get it to connect to my wifi.  Switch works manually, but not no connected to wifi and, therefore, is not in my app for use.  I have disabled my VPN and the 5G (selectable) so that only 2.4G is running.  During installation of the new HS200 I can get the Kasa app to recognize the HS200, but it will always fail to connect to my wifi.  Need help as I have several more to install.

This is the problem I am having with my HS200-2 Kasa Smart wi-fi light switch. In the Kasa app, I get the message stating that Kasa wants to establish a temporary wifi connect. I click to allow the connection, then Kasa spins for a couple of minutes and then shows "Unable to Connect to your Smart switch wi-fi. My router is a Google H2D device.

Check the troubleshooting tips here. What should I do if I fail to configure the Kasa device?

 

 

@RandyAbbey Your situation is different from this post. The actual problem is that your phone cannot connect to the smart switch's wifi. Refer to Case 2 in the above article.
