HS200 Wont Connect to Google Home
I just bought 29 of the HS200 switches and 7 (14 in total) of the HS210 Kits for my home.
I got 1 of the HS200 switches installed very easily, got the Kasa mobile app, and connected the switch with no problems. But the reason I went with the Kasa Smart Light Switches was after a ton of research I determined they would be the best for quality and ability to sync with my existing smart home hub (Google Nest Hub) to control everything from one central place/app so I wouldn't need multiple applications to make my home "smart".
However, when I tried connecting my Kasa account/light switch via the Google Home app, I keep getting a "Could not reach TP-Link Kasa. Please try again" message.
I have tried removing and re-adding the devices (Nest Hub to Google Home, HS200 to Kasa app), Uninstalled and reinstalled both the Google Home and Kasa apps, shut off the breaker and turning it back on to 'hard reset the switch, and tried both the 'Reset' and 'Restart' buttons on the switch itself. Nothing has worked.
I also tried initiating/connecting the accounts from both the Kasa app and Google Home app also and neither way worked. On my Kasa app it says that Google Assistant is linked, but I am not able to add my device on the Google Home app when I click "Works with Google Home" and click on the "TP-Link Kasa" connection.
Can anyone please help with this?? The whole point of these particular switches was to be able to sync with my existing Google Hub since I have other smart items already (Nest thermostats, etc.) and I dont want to have to use multiple apps to be able to control everything.
