Solar panel won't work anymore
I have a tc-82. I'm not sure why when I try to enter the model number in trying to post this it refuses to find that product but that is what I have.
Recently I took my tc82 outdoor camera and moved it from the top of my house to the side of my house. All of my cameras charged with a solar panel and none of them have ever had a problem. After moving this and not even disconnecting the wire to reinstall it the solar panel does not work. Nothing suffered damage there are no cracks there are no peels there is no physical damage visible to the camera for the solar panel for the cable.
I have since unplugged replugged the cable in to verify that it was in fact seated correctly. I even factory restarted the camera re-added it to my cluster and it still refuses to recognize that it is plugged in and charging by a solar panel. So now the battery is draining and I'm not sure what to do.

The prompt 'There is no power supply' actually means the solar panel isn't charging at the moment, rather than the solar panel is not connected.
For your case, we recommend checking the troubleshooting suggestions in this article. What can I do if the Tapo Solar Panel fails to charge the Tapo battery-powered cameras?

@Wayne-TP it's not charging at all. The camera would never be at 70% battery. Every other camera never goes below 95% because I get full sun on all sides of my house every day. The solar pannel isn't charging at all.

Conduct some comparison tests: charge other cameras with this solar panel, and use other solar panel to charge this camera. Then we will know what the problem is.

Abnormalities can occur at any time, it's unpredictable. Based on the available information, your case may be due to a hardware issue. This conclusion would be more solid if comparative test results consistently point to a specific device as the source of the problem. In that case, a replacement is needed.
As for the cause? Honestly, it's difficult to determine without conducting thorough hardware diagnostics. The phenomena don't always tell the root cause.

This tells me that the solar panel just stopped doing its job simply by moving its location. There is zero physical damage to this unit whatsoever but merely kicking it off the mount and moving it it's the only thing that made it stop working because if I plug the camera in inside of my house it charges just fine.
