Model: Tapo D225
Hardware Version: V16
Firmware Version: 1.1.19

Just installed a Tapo D225 Video Door bell. Mounted it Horizontally with the included horizontal bracket.

After everything was installed and working, I see that the camera image is 90 degrees off. I can't find any option to rotate the image. Calls and Messages to Tapo support were no help.

Can you please tell me how I can rotate the camera image show that it displays correctly?

Otherwise the whole thing is going back in the box and getting returned to Amazon.

Hard to image Tapo providing a horizontal mounting bracket and not allowing the image to be rotated to match the mounting orientation!

This feature is not available on this model as the doorbell is supposed to be installed vertically, perpendicular to the ground.

Why are you installing it horizontally?

The provided mounting wedge allows you to adjust the vertical or horizontal viewing angle. For example, if the doorbell is installed too high and cannot capture the area directly in front of the door, using the wedge can tilt the camera's angle downward.
