S505 Requires Hub for SmartThings Integration
Hi,
I have several Tapo S505 switches integrated into SmartThings, but one of them cannot be added. SmartThings reports that the switch requires a hub to connect...
One of the primary factors for me to choose Tapo was the lack of requirement for a hub.
Why can I connect 3 other switches (same model, hardware version, and same firmware version), but this one cannot connect?
Is there a quantity limitation to connect to SmartThings without a hub, do I need to group them somehow, do I have a faulty switch, or aomething else entirely?
Any advice or help is appreciated.

I have the same problem but with the dimmer version Tapo S505D. I have 4 smart S505D dimmer switches. I can add all four in the Tapo app but when I go into smartthings the last one does not seem to be picked up. It has an error message "You need a hub in <smartthings location> to connect to this device". So it seems there is a limitation on the number of Smart 505 switches that can be added to smartthings and that limit appears to be three. I have other versions of Tapo/Kasa switches & devices without that limitation.
