I have a 20 amp 120 v gfi circuit I want to hook up a Kasa hs220 dimmer switch. I'm using a common neutral for the gfi When I hook it up it trips the gfi can you help me. Do I need a dedicated neutral for the switch.

Please double-check the wiring. Additionally, you can use a current clamp meter to test whether there’s current leakage on the ground wires connected to both the switch and light. GFCI tripping typically occurs when there’s an imbalance between incoming and outgoing current. In such cases, the excess current flows through the ground wire.
