Hardware Version: V3

Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20230219 Rel.71089

I bought this switch from Amazon last week and see the HW Ver is 3.2. But the website support says there is version 6.2. Do I return this, as this could be EOL.

Also, can I know why cant i search for this model when creating a new thread, I had to choose a random model and the firmware version installed on the switch is newer than the one on the website? How do i know if this is a genuine firmware or if it has been flashed to something else? Please help

It seems that you've bought the HW v3.2 of TL-SG1016PE and the latest FW release on the local support portal.is here.

1. For TL-SG1016PE v3.2 and v3.26.
2. Your device's configuration will be retained after the upgrade, but it is still recommended to back up the configuration before the upgrade.
