Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6 Build 20240725 Rel. 33400

I started a thread before the holidays about this always disconnecting WiFi devices. CONSTANTLY. I went out of town for the holidays, came back and can't seem to find the thread to see if anything was resolved? While out of town it was very annoying connecting back to the house WIFI things. It was like I had to open the app once, stop it and use it again to get it to work like waking it up the first time. MANY apps that have connected WIFI things. Not just Ring devices. WIFI plugs, Generac Generator, WIFI cameras and others.

 

Any idea yet guys? Funny thing is some things never disconnect and are always there yet some are constantly disconnecting and connecting 24/7.

 

I do not have the ability to change the 2.4 bandwidth as suggested. Or the channels.

First you may need to select (sort by) and choose the option for sort by (date) as (Best Match) is the default. Next you may want to try the Beta update for your Deco 16000 ( https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/837336?replyId=1605938 ). This update assisted myself and corrected the phone app and added the ability to change the channel width and channels themselves for the  2.4, 5 and 6 GHz networks. Once updated you can also check on the app under advanced and change the Wireless Network Mode to High Capacity which can assit with the 2.4 network from congestion.
